Hey there, I twisted my ankle last Wednesday but it seemed to be fine the next day, so I went running with no problems on Friday. Then on Sunday when I was doing my warm up walk, I turned it again but decided to still go for a run as it wasn't too painful (I realise that this was not the smartest thing to do ....) so I strapped it up when I got back. It was quite sore for the rest of the day and still tender yesterday, so I strapped it up again. When I was out for lunch though, it turned AGAIN. So that's 3x in 1 week. Today it's feeling ok, and the swelling is going down and it doesn't look bruised or anything... but I'm not too sure what to do about running. Each time it has happened, I have been walking not running but clearly it's very weak.
Obviously I'll wait until the swelling has gone down but not sure if I should avoid running for a while to let it get stronger.

Hoping this is improving now and that you have rested... RICE advice was correct and no impact exercise until it is healed..you risk really damaging your foot otherwise
