City of London mile postponed

Got this email yesterday, the City of London Mile has been postponed for 2017.

I did this event last year and it was a great free event with a bit of bling. I respect their decision to keep it free and hope that it comes back again next year.

For me it was a strange event. 1 mile, not a distance I am used to running but it was good to shake up my distances in events. Also no music allowed. Maybe next year we can get a C25K team together and have a meet up.
