Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going, sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If your a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy healthy week.

RFCx.

Going to keep trying to get out running among all the other stuff and keep the drinking and mince pies to an acceptable level ๐Ÿ˜€.

After last week's partying, I'm back to sensible eating and running, before the main event. So running club Tuesday, a solo 6k Thursday and parkruns on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. My husband joked with our daughter that, 'he doesn't know me anymore' . Not sure I recognize myself!

Happy running all ๐Ÿ˜

You seem to run on the same days that I do - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. So my running plan is Monday - OFF, Tuesday - HARD, Wednesday - OFF, Thursday - HARD or LONG, Saturday parkrun - MODERATE TEMPO pace or EASY, Sunday - MODERATE or EASY( depending on what I did at parkrun )

Hello everyone! I'm a new member on this forum - been doing the C25K since August 10th and finally graduated last week :-)

now trying to consolidate my running by actually completing 5k in whatever time I need (closer to 40 minutes than 30!)

:)

Hi, Iโ€™m definitely a bit of a lurkerโ€ฆ! I started the bridge to 10k a few months ago. I havenโ€™t been following the runs quite so religiously as my C25k weeks & I skip about a bit. My favourite run is week 2 which Iโ€™ve done about 7 or 8 times and week 5 run 1 which Iโ€™ve done a few times! Iโ€™m not sure if Iโ€™ll go the whole 10k but Iโ€™m really enjoying it all so you never know โ€“ itโ€™s quite possible Iโ€™ll get there! Iโ€™m at about 7k at the moment. Iโ€™ve done quite a few 5ks in between these slightly longer runs and Iโ€™m definitely finding them easier! Thatโ€™s all really โ€“ just nice to share a note. It also saves me boring my family! (... and sorry this has turned into quite a long post!)

try walking the 10K just once - I always feel that once we have covered a distance on foot in any manner , it becomes more realisable.

Hadn't thought of that and sounds like a good idea... A lot is to do with the mind and I can see how this could help! Thank you!

Hello lurker ๐Ÿ˜Š 7K is a fab distance and if you can get to that you can definitely get to 10K (if you want to). But it sounds as if you're really enjoying your running which is the most important thing. You're doing brilliantly.

My orthotics are still not right even though they behaved on a recent race but the next day was bad. So, it's short runs for me over Christmas and then I'm back to see the podiatrist in the New Year for, hopefully, the last time. I'm feeling very frustrated that I can't get properly going on my long runs but hey ho, at least I was running this year.

Happy Christmas everyone and here's to a healthy, injury-free 2017 xxx
