Southsea seafront run!

Nice run today which makes me feel like singing, Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside! It was very pleasant today, the weather was lovely and it wasn't too crowded for my run along the , and topped off wirh a great scenic view. Although I have too admit I did have a Rodney Trotter moment! Switched on my Garmin to find the satalites whilst doing my warm up walk, next thing I know I've picked up speed to a steady pace running, until I suddenly realised I never started Garmin to record my run. So instead of a 5 mile run today it shows I've only covered 3.77, as my old school reports used to say, can do better! ๐Ÿ™„ Have a good week running all.

That's much better than up here today Frank, I just went out for a fast 3k walk, it's foggy, dull & cold, so didn't hang about to warm up!..๐Ÿ˜Š

Ooh lovely jubbly Frank! it looks like summer there ๐Ÿ˜Š

But cooler here and fine after a damp start. I spent all day pottering on the plot ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm afraid our weather became overcast by later afternoon but was nice for most of the day albeit a little breeze. You might be pottering but I think I've lost the plot! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Recognize that pattern on the pavement. Lovely place to run.

I went through woods today with hundreds of colourful leaves falling.

I did enjoy it this morning, and a spot of trail running with beautiful autumn leaves for you to enjoy. Not a bad life is it! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh, that looks beautiful Frank! I wish I could have run there today instead of after work in the dark -Garmin wouldn't lock on to a satellite, then I tripped, jarred my hip and eventually abandoned my run! Not my finest moment!๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Oh dear that sounds painful Sandra, hope it settles down quickly for you! I don't mind running in the dark but it does have its pitfalls, I'm just lucky I can run during the day.

Lovely Southsea! The location of my parkrun personal best which means it has a special place in my heart ๐Ÿ˜€

It looks amazing today - lucky you to be running during the day! And not to worry about the technology, a run's still a run even if you don't measure it all.

I haven't tried Southsea for a Parkrun yet as my home run is Havant, but recently I've been using Lakeside which is very nice. I'll have to give it a try. Happy running. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Do try Southsea, it's a good one, especially on a day like the one you photographed.

It actually looks like the weather will be ok between 8 and 10 tomorrow morning on the forecast for Southsea. I am closing in on 50 Parkruns (which I want to complete before my 2nd runniversary of 2nd Jan). I won't have many more Saturdays when I am free so will definitely be there tomorrow.

I will be there tomorrow, I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. I will be wearing my blue GSR top. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
