I am trying new things; walk and run, slow and fast, Strides, all sorts. Just enjoying the running and finding out more about my particular strengths, and weaknesses, both physical and mental. Distances and times vary, but that is not a problem for me at the moment. My running week currently, seems to comprise an 8, a 5 and a 3 K, and my long run day, which was always Tuesday has begun to vary too. Simply finding the continuing journey so interesting, absorbing tips and suggestions from this forum and exploring lots of those ideas. I am, as ever, taking it all in as I run, rambling on C25K forum as usual too! Thanks everyone for the support
Photo is of yesterday morning's run; my beloved field run and a lowering sky. It was extremely humid and I got drenched on the run home

I mix it up to and love experimenting with the suggested plans people come up with. No doubt I will decide to try for a longer distance or try to improve my times eventually but I'm in no hurry and feel no inclination to do anything other than enjoy myself for now. I blame you for teaching me about strides, I do them for the last minute of every run at the moment.
Notnearly as stunning as your home, but really , not too bad The views over towards the Derbyshire peaks are lovely... and now we have moved further up the hill from our village, I get those views on any pavement runs!
Because our daughter and husband have bought, what was the family home, which backs on to the fields i run in and across, I get the added bonus, if I am a bit whacked, of climbing over the gate and heading across to the back of their land, nip through the paddock and get a welcome drink of water Best of all things!
