Letroz 2.5mg banned

My wife had BC was operated in October 2015, finished Radiation and chemotherapy after that. She was on daily tablet of Letroz 2.5mg since then. Now the pharmacy is saying Indian government banned the tablet. Is that true, if yes is there any substitute for it or we should visit our medical onco.

No. It is not banned. It is readily available with prescription.

Letrozole is being used as long-term maintenance for breast cancer. I am taking it myself .cannot be banned.but does need a prescription.

Thanks, I know it for long term use. But I got the info from Pharmeasy online app. I did got it from local pharmacy.
