The treatment suggested is KADCYLA chemo ffor metastatic breast cancer HER 2 positive. Can anyone suggest where it will be available at CHENNAI and its availability at reasonable price.

Please follow what your oncologist tells you. The best person to help you get a medicine cheap is your Oncologist since he would very well know the company people and all he distributors for the same. Sit with him and talk it out.

We have been taking Kadcyla from Apollo hospital. They charge the MRP of Rs 317000 for 200 mg. After the 19th dose we are getting the medicine free of cost from THE BLUE TREECancer Patients Support program . I am told that they will give the medicine free after the sixth dose free of cost. You may contact your Oncologyst..

Hi Mr.nambiar, my mother was diagnosed Breast cancer HER2+ve, she completed 6 cycles of chemo+trastuzumab and 3 cycles of trastuzumab. She had a positive respinse. After 3rd PET CT it started to reoccur. Now the Dr said the only option is to try kadcyla. From your experience can you share how effective was the treatment with kadcyla? Many thanks

The kadcyla infusion is very effective in our case. The pat scan taken reveal no active cells. We are advised to continue theinfusion and in faci going to take take the 64th dose this week. This is just to share our experience. The kadcyla infusion does not have the usual pains or difficulties as in the case of herclone/herceptin.We can defenitely say that kadcyla is effective. We cannot predict how effective will be on others as doctor opines it depends on the patients.
