Fibroid tissue sore after stopping oestrogen

Hi, further to my last posts. I have invasive ductal cancer left breast. 10 days ago I stopped my oestrogen patch of 15 years (cold turkey approach)

I haven’t taken the letrazole as yet.

Last two days I’m feeling the effects especially at night but have noticed also that the fibrocystic tissue which is around the cancer has become tender and the lumps seems bigger.

Any ideas/advice on this please? The lumps were probably caused by oestrogen which has been consistent in my body since aged 45

Do you think this is because of the sudden drop??

Sorry you've had no replies. Can't advise but suggest you ring your breast care nurse or ring the nurses available through Breast Cancer Now website.

It is such a worrying time and you will feel better after talking to someone.
