I'm sure you are mightily relieved to hear that. I found radiotherapy " no big deal" though others may disagree. Maybe I was just very fortunate. Good luck.

Great news that was the same as me, my first yearly mammogram is in June, I have been back to the doctors several times for a breast exam just for my peace of mind but up until now no problems, after radio I just had a little burn on my chest but went after a couple of weeks. Used e45 after every session x

That's great news x

Good news, my sister is planning on Radio after her lumpectomy. All the best. I refused Radio as I have a lung disease and I'm high risk for pulmonary fibrosis. But chemo and 5 years on Anastrazole (finished last year) and I'm OK.

It's great to hear good news. As the ladies say, radio is a busy time with having to get to the hospital daily but for me it was easy peasy compared to chemo. I hope all goes well. xx

Great news Lyngal, I had lumpectomies in 2013, radio in 2014, still on tablets (my choice) could have stopped after 5 yrs, every mammogram since has been clear xxxx

that is good news, I had radio after a lumpectomy/lymph node removal last year. i found the radio to be fine at the time but got easily tired not long after finishing the course. My skin got what looked like a mild sunburn under my arm and was told not to use anything except Zerobase on it, no deoderant or soap either...I also left off my bra and wore a vest which was quite liberating! I have been on Tamoxifen for a year now and have to continue for another 4 yrs..I have an appt nxt wk for yearly check up so fingers crossed..

Wishing you all the best, take things easy and be good to yourself during yr radio.. x

That's great news! You must be able to breathe now without worries. But still, the best way to avoid future recurrence is that you should get regular checkups. Do some exercises to prevent breast cancer on a regular basis, and keep in touch with your doctor. Later, If you find any irregular symptoms then consult with your doctor immediately and get it checked right away.

I wish you a happy and healthy life ahead!
