For those who have followed my journey, I wanted to share a pic of my wedding day. A day I didn’t know if I would see. I had no eyebrows or lashes and hardly any hair, but with the help of my amazing makeup lady and hairdresser and wig supplier, I was able to look how I had imagined I would when we first planned our big day 22 months ago, before any diagnosis. We got married on the 9th August, 9 days after finishing radiotherapy and 6 weeks after finishing chemotherapy. A lot of people asked had we thought of postponing our wedding, which we did think about but I’m so glad I had an end goal and what an amazing day it was! Followed by a week in Amalfi Italy..... the best way to recuperate after 7 months of hell.

I’m now 6 weeks post treatment, started Tramoxifen 2 weeks ago and my energy levels are coming back, my hair certainly is and I’m in a good place....

I had an Afternoon Tea with The Girls instead & l got my Cruise 🚢 when Chemo was finished!

Hope you enjoyed your afternoon tea, and, yes, Trish looks stunning, I'm okish as following a bone scan in 2014 I get a letter saying intermediate risk of fractures and don't do anything apart from another scan in 5 yrs, went to GP earlier this year to be referred and she casually said 5 yrs ago I had a T score of -2.4 with -2.5 being osteoporosis, I've had this yrs scan and I've got osteoporosis in my spine so getting to grips with that, otherwise life is ok

I was already on Alendronic Acid when diagnosed but after my Chemo l went on a 3year Regime of Zolendronic Acid to try prevent it spreading to the bones, so far so good 🙏🏼
