Hello ...quick update and how is everyone doing !!!

Hello everyone ...Just an update to see how everyone is doing ...I had my two year mammogram and its all clear ...I got actually got a letter this time and was nice to read ....I remember the long journey nearly every day and dont take each day for granted ...hope everyone is ok ...and just want to say a massive thanks to all who supported me during such a tough time ....my hair is nearly back to how it was ...after 18 months ....to anyone starting treatment ...there is an light at the end of the tunnel so keep looking forward xxxx

Hi, thank you for your reply, in 2014 when my treatment had finished I had a bone scan which showed I was at intermediate risk of fractures, don't do anything just have another scan in 5 yrs, earlier this year I went to GP for the referral and she said 5 yrs ago I had a T score of -2.4, -2.5 is osteoporosis, I've had this year's scan and I've got osteoporosis in my spine, now waiting for a hospital appt which wasn't routinely offered to me, I'm on the bone health HU forum and there's so much to work out about what is best for me, otherwise I'm fine, and as I've had the first 5 yrs post cancer this is the first year without a mammogram

Only just joined the group but it’s always lovely to hear such good news just frame that letter then you can gaze at it each time you pass 😊. The ladies on here are wonderful I agree. Hope all your news is good in the future

Fabulous. I too am two years on with a clear mammogram result. As you say, treatment are very dark days which seem to go on forever but we do get through it. Hugs and positive thoughts to everyone on this site. xxx Caroline

Hey there ....carolinenailsea ...lovely to hear from you ....your one of the lovely ladies that kept me in the right place ....dark days indeed but i do have some funny stories ...like when i wore my wig for the first time ...over my hair before treatment and i made a lady paronoid in Primark looking at her to see if she was looking at me ...lol ...xxxx

I had my 4 year mammogram letter the other day all ok, happy another year done.

I am looking forward to the day when I can stop taking the tablets!

Good for you ! Keep going ! I am in my 9th year now after being told I wouldn’t see past 7 years ! Just keep positive , eat healthy and enjoy every day xx
