Hi, I don't know of one in particular but Holland and Barrett likely have something suitable, could be worth a try! x

Hi

It’s worth checking with your Chemo Nurse or Team what they would recommend, l didn’t start my Chemo until September so it wasn’t an issue or try Breast Cancer Care Website as the Chemo Team/Unit are not usually open over a weekend.

Best Wishes 💐

Hope your treatment is going well.

I'm 2years clear and I still use natural tone products. I was told about it after my treatment.look on the web site naturaltonessuncare.com. It s expensive but I've never burnt.good luck and enjoy the sun kx

Well, I’m all hippie chick no chemicals woman now. I used to use Korres but noticed some ingredients I didn’t like. So I’ve switched to Green People. They make one specifically for the face and a more general use one. I also wear a Wallaroo sun hat which is supposed to have UV50 protection. I started chemo on the 21st of March. So far I’ve noticed a big increase in freckles but no sunburns.

I use Tropic skincare for everything including sun protection. The products are made from naturally sourced ingredients, paraben free etc. Can highly recommend. X

Hi squeezebox I too have used Greenpeople but last year found read an online article researching the top 5 natural sun creams - sorry I can’t remember the link. I ended up buying Alba botanical sensitive mineral Fragrance free spf 35 broad spectrum sunscreen!! The broad spectrum covers more of the suns rays than the usual and the article claimed spf35 to cover something like 93% of the suns rays and spf50 covered like 95% so I opted for spf35. Thatsbif you believe the article.....up to you.

Sending love xxx

This is all natural. I don't know where you're located but I love his products. Of course, being all natural means reapply frequently. I'm sure he can answer any questions you might have.

I haven't worried particularly about the 'going natural / avoid chemicals' type stuff! I just bought some factor 50 kids sun cream (Nivea I think) and used that to good effect! I figured if it's safe for kids it is safe for me. My chemo cycles ran from the end of January to mid April 2016 so I wasn't having chemo during the main part of the summer but I think you are probably vulnerable for quite a long time after you have finished your chemo. I keep a horse and so am outside quite a bit. I didn't have any problems with the sun at all but I was sensible about not exposing too much skin for too long too quickly! I certainly didn't avoid being out in the sun. I was just careful. I made sure I covered my head, as whilst I did not lose all my hair, it was very thin and I did have a bald patch on top! It's fine now. I think sunshine is good - but of course, in moderation. Hope this helps. Good luck with it all. xx

Oh dear, sorry to hear you had a reaction. I think that can happen with anything. I don't get on with aloe-vera but some people swear by it! It is always a case of finding something that suits you.

I'm still having some treatment - targeted therapies every three weeks. Pertuzumab and Herceptin, both IV. I'm off to hospital later today for my next treatment. They do have side effects but nothing like chemo!

Good luck with your treatment. I hope you are soon well again. Take care. xx

Good morning sueandEmber

Thank you for your reply. Things have calmed down alot thank you. It seems I have a problem with the hepflush.

I am glad to hear you are through chemo and that the iv's you're having now are easier to cope with.

Hoping you are well within yourself.
