Need reassurance..........had double mastectomy September 2015 and still get pain where right breast used to be. Is this normal?

On a lighter note I would love to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a HEALTHY New Year. Lots of love and prayers Marina xxxx

I can't directly answer your question really but I do know that nerves & nerve messages are a complicated and unmapped world. We can still "receive" information from places long after they aren't there. If it's nothing your allopathic doctor can explain - & obviously you should give them a visit, then try acupuncture if that's something you'd do. But honestly when I had "phantom pain" the best thing I did was stimulate the area with other sensations to encourage new nerve growth. Tickle, massage, lightly scrape with finger nails, hot, cold, pinch, tweak, twist , tap.

Not sure if that's at all helpful so I'm sending a HUGE HUG too

I have no experience of this and always difficult to know what's normal. If it was me I'd probably ring the breast care nurses where you had your surgery in the first instance or talk to one of the nurses on the Breast Cancer Care website.
