Lady Care for hot flashes

Hello! I was just told about this product. It is a magnet that you clip to your underwear and supposedly helps with hot flashes, night sweats, etc.

Has anyone tried it? I am going crazy with my hot flashes and night sweats.

Thanks!

hi there,

I bought one of these and it cost around £25, a small cost thinks I to reduce the awful debilitating flushes. Sadly for me it did not work at all even though I wore it 24/7 for a few months. I tried again just a couple of months ago but no difference whatsoever.

My flushes are increased because I take exemastane to hopefully keep breast cancer away.

I am however no taking clonidine prescribed by my gp and at last after 2 years of major struggling I can now get through a whole day without having to change my clothes 3/4 times!!

As for the magnet, it's a no from me!!

stay well

I tried it, and it didn’t work, but it had great entertainment value, went into a public toilet, did what I needed to do, and the magnet separated some how and rolled into the next cubicle, cause a laugh, but that was as good as it got.

Don’t wear it going through airport security, (didn’t do it myself) but a friend did, and said it need some explaining.

Good luck with the new medication, and I hope this at least made you laugh, but don’t waste your money.Xxx

Hi Griston, I bought it, it didn't work for me,that's not to say it won't work for you everyone is different,I stopped the caffeine I only drink decaff tea or coffee, i'm enjoying green teait seems to help me,as my flushes were awful, I still have the odd one or two but nothing to what it was like, the lady magnet I think it cost me £30, I'd be happy to give you my one its in its box saves buying one if it doesn't work, least you gave it a try lol, we try everything eh.

The only thing that worked for me was a very small dose (10mg) ofcitalopram. The GP said that it had made a difference to a lot of the BC patients she knew x
