I'm 29 and I've been on zoladex and letrozole for two years now the doctors want me to keep doing it for 3 more years I was wondering what my chances are of having a baby when I'm done or what your opinions are on stopping early to try for one?

This is something you and the doctors must work through together, it was possible...but I am thinking back from the Royal Marsden twenty six years ago. Drugs are different now. It is quite understandable you need to think forward as you are still young, its a step you take at a risk but not alone...you will need medical guidance and monitoring.

As the previous lady has said it is something you need to talk through with your doctors, and of course it will come at a risk as pregnancy increases all your hormones and that is exactly what the drugs you are on are trying to suppress.

So you will need to make it clear to your doctors what you would like to happen, and see if they can help you, and give you all the info to make the choice.

I hope all works out for you.

At present I'm taking part in a research trial regarding pregnancy & tamoxifen. I'm currently on a break from it whilst trying to get pregnant but I'm being closely monitored to check hormone levels. All this was discussed before I had any treatment & I had embryos frozen. I was 37 when diagnosed

I am in agreement with the other replies. This is something that needs to be discussed with your dr/oncologist. You are still very young. I wish you all the best and will look out for any news you post on the site. Good luck

I would not recommend pregnancy while taking Letrozole but talk to your doctor. She knows more about it.
