Mammogram

Well it's my first mammogram in the morning since having cancer last year.Getting very anxious now just hope and pray it's clear

Yes Batey60 we're going along OK after treatment, then suddenly its Mammogram Time & the natural 'what if's' spring into your mind.

I'd had a Mastectomy so it was for the other breast but still the same concern, especially as I'd found the lump myself, two months after a clear routine Mammogram so l was always wondering. I mentioned it to my BCN & she rang me two days later with the results so I didn't have to wait for my appointment with the Consultant.

Hope all goes well for you & you don't have to wait too long for the results.

Thank you.My cancer was picked up on a routine mammogram last January and I keep thinking is it going to be a repeat performance.Hope get results quickly hate the waiting x

Good luck ..mammograms will never be routine for us and we all get worked up especially waiting just wish you could have the results there and then like when I went to the one stop shop as I call it within two hours saw consultant had mammogram had ultrasound had biopsy and back to consultant that's was great about our NHS but hopefully you will get your letter soon ..ring your breast nurses if you don't hear in two weeks mine was delayed so rang her up and she checked all ok letter turned up a few weeks after that ...but nurse understood the tension .take care and stay well

I have just had mine. Waiting for the results was nerve racking but luckily it was clear x
