Forgot to take Tamoxifen!

Help! I forgot to take Tamoxifen today. I take it at 9am everyday. I'm 12 hours late. Question: Should I take it now and delay tomorrow's days by a few hours or let it be today and take tomorrow 's dose as usual?

I would take it now and retime tomorrows but best check with an expert.

Hi Lainey! Thanks for your timely response. I sent a reply almost immediately but it seems to have vanished. I did just that. Took the med late.

I was told not to worry as there would be enough of the chemicals in my body xxx but take it now and like Lainey said .. Adjust as you go along xxx

I have been taking letrozole etc since 2010 and I still forget sometimes 😳🙄😂xxx

Long time ago Tamoxifen...but this still happens with my diabetic meds. Ignor and take following day...its in blood stream any way...it will not make a great difference, unlike my meds that brings havoc to sugar levels if I forget. Or take now forget tomorrow and then continue as before if worried on overdose. It might be in the instruction paper.

You shouldn't have worried at all as the chemical component is still in your blood stream. I think it's written in the leaflet that comes with the medicine that if you forget to take it one day, you simply take it the following day. That's all.

Don't worry about missing one day, just take it the next day as usual

A good question i have yet not forgotton but i am sure there will come a day that it happens, thanks to the lovely ladies here i have the answer already for future reference ..no need to panic ☺x
