My hair loss came about really quickly and has left me with an incredibly itchy scalp. What can I do to relive it please ladies? X

Lots and lots of moisturiser ! I use Eurax cream for itching but you better see if its ok to use with your meds. Also keep the area cool (wet wipes). Take care .

I used coconut oil from Bodyshop. Not only did it stop the itch but it's scent had me believing it was eternally summer time 😂

Wash your scalp every day with your normal shampoo, this made me feel normal and nice but moisturize with E45 day and night. Your head will itch less without a wig and keep any head gear to natural fibres, cotton, linen etc.

Good luck!

Hi Grocklie,

I second Lainey's suggestion, Coconut Oil is fab... for everything lol! I have an itchy scalp anyway and it did get worse for a bit when chemo started, I cold capped and i think it irritated it more... I tried to make sure it didn't get too hot and drink lots of water oh and really tried to eat less sugar (which is hard when all you fancy is chocolate!) hope it starts to feel better soon Nix x

Coconut oil worked for me 😊

I use oatmeal lotion and it really helps with the itch. Best to put it on while still slightly damp. The lotion I use is all natural, so is my soap which I have been using on my scalp. It's made by summer hill botanicals. Love their products.
