Hi hon, you will find that it is probably the chemo. Have you just started it? Are you injecting yourself with lonquex 24 hours after chemo? That also causes bone pain, as that injection is to speed up the regeneration of white blood cells in order to keep your immune system working. The bone pain may last a few days. But the pins and needles, well I've had them since last October. Good luck with your treatment. xx

i had chemo and got nerve damage to feet. they went numb and couldnt tolerate heat .. in bath or shower ...or cold . over 12months now since chemo and its much better but still wear slippers in house.. no cold floors. and need socks n boots on in cold weather.

im diabetic too so have to be really careful with my feet.

I cannot speak for tamoxifen but having had other treatments ( chemo and now fulvestrant) I find my aches and pains especially in my feet are gradually getting much worse. I also have increasing numbness in my feet. My Oncologist keeps telling me that it is my arthritis that is getting worse but I know it is treatment that is causing it. I am going to tackle him again the next time I see him. Don't suppose he can do anything except give me pain relief but he could admit that it is the medication. On the other hand, the medication is working so we have to accept these side effects. Sorry I am letting off steam a bit as nobody seems to accept thatvit is tge treatment that us csusing it. Hope that yours does not get too bad and good luck with your treatment x

I have the same side effects. I have found they get worse after my herceptin jab. As it's been said, unfortunately it's the price we pay for our fight against cancer

Hi There, I was on Tamoxafin for a year, bad bone pain, my quads felt it the worst. my feet also felt pain, pins and needles too. Had too many problems with fibroids, had hysterectomy and now on Arimidex, now no leg pain but worse foot pain. It is from the drugs.
