I totally agree, the NHS were brilliant with me, from date of first ever mammogram, op, radiotherapy, to being discharged from Oncology was exactly 6 months - 3 Sept to 3 March

Yes I totally agree thank goodness for the NHS . I had all my treatment at the Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal Hospitals and The Lingen Davies centre the staff were fantastic and put you at ease. if it was up to me I would give them all a pay rise rise because they work long hours for peanuts and always being threatened by cut backs xx

Hope the NHS will be able to continue to give the care we all benefited from. When I went, with my daughter past new houses being built around the teaching hospital in our city, she expressed her wish that all the nurses who work so hard could be given free housing as their salaries don't allow them to live near their place of work.

Excellent advice and a great post. It is very scary when you receive the diagnosis. I went to Whitehaven and Carlisle hospitals and they were wonderful. I have been OK for over 3 years now. The latest figures show an 80 - 85% survival rate after 10 years so this has improved since I was diagnosed!

Good health and God bless to all sufferers out there.

Totally agree staying calm is the way forward. I had excellent care from the radiologists at the Royal Stoke University Hospital they were fab. Thank goodness for our NHS
