Advice
I have
metastatic
breast
cancer
. I am taking Ibrance and fulvestrant. After a gastroscopy, I was diagnosed with an esophageal ulcer. The gastroenterologist prescribed me pantaprozole. After many studies and a call to Fizer, I discovered that Ibrance does not work fully with ppi.

If the metastasis is not severe (ie widespread) why not surgery first?
Hi All, I was just wondering why surgery is not more a conventional method in stage 4
metastatic
breast
cancer
? If one has a breast tumor, and only a few areas of metastasis - why isn't surgery to remove the breast tumor, and then radation/targetted treatment on the areas of metastasis?

Metastatic breast cancer
I have been diagnosed with
metastatic
breast
cancer
but right now my scans are NED. I have taken 51 doses of hormone related drugs. I also have osteoporos which is related to the cancer. I would like to know if it is safe to take collagen while I am on Ibrance and Letrozole .

Newly diagnosed MBC
Five hours later, a CT scan among other scans and blood work, I was diagnosed with
metastatic
breast
cancer
. Left breast same side as previous breast cancer. This time it was under my left armpit. I thought I had lymphedema, similar symptoms so I was shocked that I have MBC with lung involvement.

Tooth extraction after receiving Zometa?
My tooth extraction is scheduled for 9/18 but it’s not related to my
metastatic
breast
cancer
or any drugs I have received. It’s due to internal resorption and is being removed 8 weeks after my first Zometa infusion.

Hi! I'm new and excited to meet others and learn about your journey
In 2022, I was once again diagnosed with
breast
cancer
, but this time
metastatic
. What a shock! It spread to my lymph nodes and lungs. Only intervention is that I am currently taking letrozole, and it is holding cancer at bay.

Docs who prescribe mebendazole and metformin
I am currently taking letrozole for

. I am also doing the COC protocol, but only with mebendazole and metformin. Just curious, are any of you getting mebendazole or metformin from any other docs than COC? Thanks! Sue

Why do I feel so rundown on ibrance?
Hello, I am a breast cancer survivor, stage 4, her2- , estrogen and progesterone positive.I was on Ibrance and letrozole for around 2 yrs. I was told the pills usually only last 9 months. Almost Depends on the person. Every time I have my labs done my white count and neutrophils were too low.

Acute Liver Failure Diagnosis

TP53 Testing
Good afternoon. My oncologist called me last month to tell me that my FISH test indicated that I had Trisomy 12. He went on to say “You should feel lucky that you don’t have TP53.” I watched this excellent video yesterday. The doctors discussed the importance of having the separate TP53 test with FISH

My mom just got diagnosed with CLL at 59 - we have questions - thank you for all the support on my previous post!
1. We live in Southern California - does anyone know a great specialist near by? 2. Her ABSOLUTE LYMPHOCYTES are 9533 - does anyone have similar numbers but they have increased 24% from a month ago when they were at 7732?? Is this alarming? 3. Her IGHV test came back at 6.87% - what does that mean?
