I know I haven’t been on here for a while, but just wanted to say when I was diagnosed and the months following when my body was adjusting to the negative effects of medication and treatments - this forum and all of its lovely members was the single most best thing for love and positivity and getting me through, the very often dark days.

Thankfully (I feel so blessed) I have just had my 5th year all clear. Although this is the best news ever, I do however take nothing for granted and will be forever thankful to the Breast Cancer team at my local hospital, my family and friends - but most of all the lovely people on here for their love and support 💖

So so pleased for you. It’s milestone that’s for sure! I am 3 years on and I think it gets scarier each year waiting for the all clear. Go out and celebrate 🥰

Yes it is daunting each year isn’t it. All the best for your next 2 years. ❤️

That is wonderful! I am a little over a year out from my diagnosis, but it is so encouraging to hear from those who are doing so well!

That’s really good news! Totally agree with you this was the place I came to whenever I needed some words of encouragement. My son was 14 when I was diagnosed. He turned 18 today, I am so grateful to be here to celebrate it 💖 all the best to anyone going through this right now x

Hi

Am at hospital this afternoon for my 5 year saw a consultant surgeon couple of weeks ago and she said I could stop the Tamoxifen straight away as I get the most awful head and face sweats I sleep with a towel on my head as sometimes I wake and my whole head is drenched plus in day time for forehead just leaks it runs down my face into my eyes then takes a detour round the arms of my glasses and carries on - each time that happens it takes at least half hour for my head to cool down - I am still getting them but not quite as bad going to mention to Dr on next visit

Wishing every one well
