Strange symptoms

I've developed some strange symptoms over the past 6 weeks which are concerning me and wondered if anyone has experienced the same?

I get sensations throughout the day of the feeling of falling like going over a bump in the car, I get headaches from the back of my head and from a specific spot on my head, I get these strange and intense rushes throughout my head which occur when sat down doing nothing particular and I get tinnitus especially at night and in the morning.

I can only relate to tinnitus from that list I’m afraid. Although I find that’s there when I pay attention to it and it’s not the rest of the time (think like hearing the ticking of a clock).

Personally I’d be more concerned with the sensations of falling and rushes. Also with the fact that you have a headache that feel like it is originating from a point at the back of your head. Headaches happen for all sorts of reasons but I would definitely get an appointment with your GP if you haven’t already. Particularly as your symptoms have been ongoing.

Hope that helps somewhat!

Thanks for the reply.

Went to see an ear specialist yesterday who couldn't find anything with their initial checks so getting a CT scan and a brain MRI done.

I've had similar feelings, are you still suffering from dizziness quite a lot? The feeling of falling and going over a bump in the car are probably linked to vertigo. A physio can do an adjustment which is supposed to help with this and the dizziness, I'm yet to have mine done though. Headaches I usually get above my eyes, but also quite often from the back of my head. The intense rushes in your head is also fairly normal apparently when recovering, sort of the feeling of water running over the brain, or something. I've had all sorts of weird feelings unfortunately.

Hi, yeah still getting it and it's been going on for 5-6 weeks now.

I'm getting a CT scan and an MRI done and I'm absolutely terrified they're going to find some lesions of some kind as the symptoms sound similar to either a brain tumour or MS. Naturally already an anxious person so my brain is going over drive at the moment.

Ahh I'm sorry to hear that, I just hope the scans can clear up all the questions you have. Have you suffered from a brain injury or head trauma? Sorry I should've asked that before, just realised that these could be completely unrelated symptoms if you haven't. That's my shitty short term memory for you 😂

haha don't worry about it! no i haven't had any brain or head injuries.

I just keep getting a weird dizziness that almost isn't like dizziness cos nothing spins, i just feel in my own head as if i am moving, just really hope it isn't anything serious, i would love for this to simply be anxiety

It could well be, I had some pretty messed up symptoms last year when suffering with severe anxiety. I have also found the symptoms from the brain Injury I had to be fairly similar to that of severe anxiety and depression. I hope you get the all clear after your scans and if it's nothing physical they direct you to the best path to find the answers for it.
