After my tbi many years ago, I am still looking for a way to be able to read once more. My memory was also badly effected so everything I have tried has been too complicated or you need to be able to read to use it!

Somebody suggested narrator. Any thoughts? What Windows package do I need to use this? Thank you!

Thanks Teynboy, I have tried that but it was more reading long emails and books that are not available on audio. Also client cards and treatment plans that are private. I don't know if there is something that is easier to use than Narrator as it reads out every punctuation mark!

I don't really know if this might help: I attend a Headway group and there is a guy there who is blind. He has gadgets and software that read stuff to him. Perhaps the RNIB might know about this sort of stuff?
