Disabled and Carer of Disabled partner.

I was diagnosed with a mengioma brain tumour in June 2015. When I had my latest scan it showed despite benign, it was growing. I was getting DLA indefinitely since 2005, but since this March, refused PIP after an Atos visit, lost the appeal, and been unconsidered a tribunal. I am my disabled partners carer. I have severe bladder incontinence, and on several medications including for sleep and moods. I feel penalised for trying. I don't receive any Carers' Allowance. I go once a month to a local Carers' Group.

I'm so sorry. I know you are terrified. I have had 3 meningoma surgeries to my brain and 80 radiation treatments.

What is your question?

Go to Scope get an advocate (They did so much for me)Even listened as I sobbed no one else would samaritans this drives you to it Atos or A Toss do not know what the heck they are doing to people!!Its worse than bad the brown envelope had me crying I got it the woman made me cry asking for X rays apt dates etc I was walking into walls distill am on crutches now she shouted at me (did I not understand the question I didn't nor did my Mum.She had enough info that I could understand I got both I was 😬lucky but couldn't make head nor take of the point system?Other than I got it I didn't care.Next Olympic hurdel was working out why you wait from 26feb on DLA to 6 th April for PIP it's a bloody long time the one relief (is I got both until 2022!They write a year before...Enough to cause a relapse!!😬😬🤡🤡Place them in our shoes that don't fit for a day..They may change There attitude to them we are a national insaurence number we can't remember!Being classed lucky I understand but should rather have my health job and life back than a test to see if I can walk (I can't without crutches )Had I not got it I would be Incaserated in a luminous bin..
