Fours years on from head injury - still tough

I suffered a freak head injury in 2012 whilst on holiday and was found to have a subdural heamatoma after a CT scan on my return.

Where I am extremely lucky to have escaped any major effects, I still suffer from lack of concentration and short term memory. I know if frustrates those closest to me, especially my wife but I am at a loss where to go from here.

Being a fit, active, positive person, most people don't comprehend how it feels inside at times but I try to shrug it off. At times it just takes over and I end up going into a shell and unable to process or make sense of anything.

Any advice most welcome.
