3rd Nerve Palsy

I initially went to my GP as my left eye was dilated. The hospital confirmed that I had 3rd nerve palsy and a 6mm brain aneurysm. I had my aneurysm coiled 4 weeks ago and I feel my energy levels are almost back to normal. I have been to the orthoptics department recently and have another appointment in 2 months time. I have also filled out a form from the DVLA to update my medical details and hope that I will be able to drive again. I have been told that 3rd nerve palsy has about 50-70 per cent chance of recovery but surgery might be needed to position my eye back to the centre. Has anyone here had any experience of 3rd nerve palsy please as I’d be grateful to hear from you.
