Hi everyone hope you’re all feeling good. So went to see my consultant and professor yesterday and I have decided not to go for the operation, hardest decision I’ve ever had to make xx

Very hard decision to make and will take time for you to live with this, I’m eighteen months down the road to you. Did your consultant advise against? And did he tell you it is very low risk xxx

Yeah he said the ball was in my court and i chose not to operate. I am just going to get on with my life xx

Hi, im dithering again... Shall I shan't I?

Can you remind me what your circumstances are a(size/location of aneurysm snd surgery options/rosk) what made you decide not to go for the op?

Mine is 5mm left para opthalmic. They think i have had it for years so I thought whats the point in messing with it, and the thought of surgery going wrong and me ending up with a disability or stroke, that i feel i would have purposely done to myself I don’t think I could live with that. You are taking a massive risk to go for surgery or to live with it i don’t think there is a right or wrong decision, i think it’s a risk no matter what. Hardest thing I’ve ever done because it’s my life i am risking. I also think it was found by accident so what will be will be xx

I'm now thinking that i'll wait and see if it gets bigger. I've been told that if it does they'll recommend surgery. That way it won't be me making the decision so to speak. Does that make sense?
