Pregnancy pain and UTi query

Apologies if this is in the wrong place!

I’m 27 weeks pregnant (and 4 days if that makes a difference) and am having intermittent pain where my right kidney is. I was admitted to the midwife triage service on Sunday evening where they took a urine sample where I had blood in my urine, an elevated plus and high temperature. They said it was an infection and gave me antibiotics and I went home.

However, the pain returned yesterday really bad and I was sick yesterday. I rang the midwife triage again and she said it wasn’t an infection as the bacteria in the Petri dish hadn’t grown but I did have skin cells in my urine which she said was vaginal secretions?

The pain has started again today in my kidney but if it’s not a UTI then what the hell is it?!?
