Ectopic pregnancy

I had salpingectomy about a week ago and i'm now a wreck. I want to cry and have a meltdown but I don't think anyone will understand me. I feel like they are expecting me to be ok because as they say these things happen.

Oh honey. I am so sad to read this. These things may happen but that doesn't mean to say that it's ok.

What is normal is to feel lost, at sea, drained and a little dull. Don't listen to sad music, try to think of positive thoughts and do something nice just the two of you over the weekend.

Sending you tonnes of hugs xxx

I think it’s completely normal to feel the way you do, I had an ectopic pregnancy about 10 years ago & felt very unsupported. You need time to heal both physically & mentally, your hormones will be all over the place right now too. Take the time you need, you have suffered a loss... grief does not have a timescale. I promise that it will get easier, with time. Take care xx
