Hi,
No need to panic. Take a deep breath. That's a low risk of having a baby with Down syndrome, I had a 1 in 5, and I now have a son with down syndrome.
Also, it's just a potential, you can do a NIPT screening or have an amniocentesis, but even so, they most likely would have picked something up at your 12 week scan.
That means you are low risk of having a downs baby. I refused to have this test but it's all down to personal preference. Don't panic x

Hi there
Your letter states that this is a low risk result (which is good). Do talk to your midwife, and ask her to explain more fully what your letter is saying, as she understands what all the results mean.
