Could I be pregnant even with a negative test

I'm 5 days late but every time I take a pregnancy test it comes up negative. My boobs hurt and I have new stretch marks and sick in the morning. Can anyone tell me why I'd still get a negative pregnant test and have symptoms.

I hope you are okay, it can be confusing when you have symptoms but keep getting negative results. I think it would be a good idea to take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning because first morning urine should exhibit a higher concentration of the pregnancy hormone, hCG.

However, if you find that it is still coming up negative and you feel that you have symptoms I would recommend going to your local Contraceptive and Sexual Health Clinic and talking to them about why your period may still be late and they can run some tests to find out what is going on.
