Seriously concerned...

Hello,

26 year old single mother to a severly disbled son...I am really concerned and unsure of what to think. I just had surgery for my PCOS about a month ago, I've been moody, nauseous, had light spotting (last period was a little short but for the most part normal, it was 2 weeks ago...) mind you, all of my pegnancys (7 preg, 1 live birth , 6 were miscarriage, I have one ovary and a tipped uteris, other ovary was removed 15 years ago due to a 27 lb cyst) have shown super early preg signs, like I've always had symptoms long before missed cycle. Anywho, I've also had lower back pain, exhaustion and 1 nipple has been tender and leaking milk, but only ONE nipple, not the other. I've looked up the different types of discharge and what I'm having points to milk not infection. I'm also bloated, cramping and worried sick because of this. As I stated earlier...my body generally won't hold a preg and I just got married last month. ..I want to have a baby as my time is running out, my female parts are giving up so I'm limited but I don't want to tell my husband I may pregnant if really just going crazy and I'm not. I've taken 2 home tests, they are neg. Also, I've noticed dimpling in my chest which is a sign of breast cancer...but all my major symptoms say baby...mind you. . I also was sick a few weeks back....and to top it off...I've been wanting sex like crazy and for the FIRST TIME In my life I had an orgasm during sex without the help of a toy. ..I'm so confused...if I am preggers I need to know ASAP so I can get proper care so I don't lose the baby but if I'm not. My husband will be sad and I can't really not tell him if I have to see the Dr to do blood work since home test was neg.

By single mom up there I mean that my husband isn't my son's dad and my husband has never had a child.

Hi there

I hope you are bearing up okay and are not too worried. You can buy early pregnancy tests now called Viola which claim to be 99% accurate 8 days post conception so I would take one of those and see what result that gives you. If it is positive then you should book an appointment with you GP as soon as you can to make sure the pregnancy is okay. If it is negative and you still have some of the symptoms you mentioned then you should book an appointment with your PCOS specialist and discuss what else might be going on. If you are worried that talking to your husband will make him upset then maybe you could talk to a friend or a family member and get their advice until you know more?

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine

We don't have viola here in the states, we know it's not the pcos, and I just don't want to excite my husband if it's nothing but thank you.

Hi

I think there are a few early tests that you can get from pharmacies such as first response: firstresponse.com/early-pre... . If you can't get hold of one of those then perhaps just wait until your period is late? I understand that you don't want to excite him so maybe tell him after you've taken another test?

Best wishes

Katherine
