I’m new to this site but belong to the cancer and AFib sites where I’ve had lots of support. I’ve just started Fosamax and calcium tablets. The Fosamax made me feel ‘rubbish’for a couple of days. Im slim, go to Zumba, keep fit for older people (I’m 70) And I walk 4/7miles daily with our rescue whippets. I don’t drink or smoke these days eat a good diet. Any advice as to how I can help myself will be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to this group, but so sorry you need to be here. I also had Breast cancer, and after treatment found I had Osteoporosis. There are several members of this group who will be able to give you excellent advice, but on the right side of the page under TOPICS there is a topic on nutrition, click that and you will find some helpful posts until the others come along to answer your question.

Thank you for that. The support I’ve had from the AFib site has been amazing. Just reading other peoples experiences is so helpful and I’m sure I’ll find the same on the site.
