Felodipine prolonged -release tablets [ permed ]

has anyone had any experience of felodine prolonged-release tablets [ Parmid ] for high blood pressure , I have just been given them by the doctors after coming out of hospital . any replies would be very welcomed .

I have been on Felodipine for about 8 months and it’s never the same make from the chemists the last prescription was Parmid XL and for the past week have been suffering from oedema in my right ankle and foot, when I have checked the side effects it answers a lot of questions. I picked up me prescription from the chemists late last week and once again a different make (Felotens XL).

are you getting other side effects from felidipine

I’m on Levothyroxine as I haven’t a thyroid so it’s all mixed up with that medication that has a lot of side effects.The oedema stands out as I’ve never had it before

The only other thing that is new is lots of mouth ulcers but again I can put that down to thyroid problems as well, I have stopped the BP tablet as I am only on 2.5 mg to see if these problems resolve

The make of Felodipine i was taking is Sandoz
