Low blood pressure

Would these diastolic blood pressures be considered low ???? 133/75 , 122/64 , 124/71 im 22 years old and it scares the crap out of me

Hello Ramekinsnew. These pressures are fine for your age. Systolic pressure is the main indicator for us non-professionals and yours are slightly, but only very slightly, on the high side at your age. Have a read of the website Blood Pressure UK, find out the facts and this will reassure you.

Your diastolics are fine and your systolic readings are probably raised a tiny bit because you are anxious.Why are you so concerned about your bp at this time? At 22 it is very unlikely you have a problem.Focus on eating healthily, exercising moderately and on doing things that enhance your sense of wellbeing.

Were these three results all from the same day/time. If so its normal to ignore the first reading of the three, as this this is often high, and then average the next two. Looks like yours are in line with norms. Worry itself can effect bp readings.

I am 90 years old and my blood pressures are regularly 120/50 b/m 45 these rise rapidly when I do heavy physical exercise - so no problems with your readings. Good luck!
