Does anyone take bps in both arms lying down, sitting and standing?

I always take both mine and my wifes pressures in both arms in all positions. Her pressure is highest lying down. I often use a electronic device on her because her arm veins are very prominent. The cuff upon inflation makes them even firmer. I have a hard time hearing her artery. Her doctor uses a electronic stethoscope when taking her pressure

Hi HBP - No, I actually just take my sitting at my desk. That seems to be adequate for at least tracking what is going on as long as done routinely. So, why do you take it in all positions? Does that tell you something different? I have just never heard of that...
