For about a month or maybe longer I’ve been getting cold and flu like symptoms like my head suddenly feels heavy and ache, headaches and runny nose.

I was diagnosed with diabetes back in November and been put on metformin ever since.

Hi GemGem - I wish I cold help you, but this is out of my range. Are you sure you don't have a flu? My hubby picked up one on the plane a month ago and is still struggling with the sinuses, the cough, etc. so it is possible. Have you ever tried a sinus rinse? Tim uses a Neil-Med kit and a friend of mine uses a Neti Pot. They both work well for irrigating your sinuses and loosening up the "junk".. ha ha Also, maybe do a coconut oil pull. I can't do the rinses, so I do the pulls and that help clear your sinuses too. Best of luck - Let us know how you do
