Took my first BP tablet about 12 hrs ago, no noticeable side effects so far, do I take this to be a good sign, or will side effects kick in after a few days

Hi JennyMary,

It is possible to develop side effects several days or even several weeks or years after taking bp meds, but so far so good, so just focus on that. Many people never have side effects, or modifications can be made to deal with them, so don't worry about it unless it happens and you can deal with it then. The main thing is that it lowers your bp. It took a few days to lower mine.

Hope the bp meds help you!

Oh that’s. brilliant. Well I think you would have had some side effects by now as mine started straight away within hours of taking medication. Good luck Jenny
