Methotrexate alongside hydroxychloroquine
Morning, due to my chilblain lupus
blisters
not responding well to hydroxychloroquine, my consultant has decided that I now need methotrexate as well. I don't know what dosage yet as I will have an appointment with a pharmacist within the next couple of week.

Blisters under calluses
All good until this week, in fact yesterday, when I developed
blisters
under my calluses on the outer side of my big toes. I could feel them throbbing in bed last night and they are tender to the touch. With just 10 days until the HM, I guess my options are limited. I won't be piercing them.

blister
hi Has anyone had any experience with
blisters
and the skin? I noticed when putting Les into bed tonight that he has a blister on his stomach, absolutely no reason at all why this should be here , is it something I should be worried about or mention to doctor ? Thanks

It's not better than heat.. but I switched as on a particularly painful endo flare up my I gave myself
blisters
from my heat pad.. and I found out that prolonged use of heat pads can discolour your skin 'google grandmother's tartan'. Nothing like that comes with a tens machine that I can see.

Post-circ questions (for those who got one)
Anything to help the speed and success of the healing process, how to avoid friction
blisters
on the exposed head etc. How long did it take for you to heal, to be able to resume normal daily activities?

Chilblain lupus and potential ulcerated blisters
Hi, I am in the middle of a chilblain lupus flare up and a couple of them appear to be infected. I have been to see my gp today ( at the rheumatology helpline's suggestion) and I have been prescribed antibiotics. The doctor is concerned because the main blister that looks infected doesn't hurt when

Has anyone been prescribed Fluoxetine for Raynaud's?
I don't get full blown 3 phase Raynaud's attacks these days but my fingers are often blue for long periods of time despite being in a warm environment and my feet suffer quite badly, they are white and I get chilblains in winter sometimes with very nasty purple
blisters
which are extremely painful.

Solutions needed to manage nerve pains ( Post herpetic neuralgia ) after shingles .
The sores and
blisters
have gone but the nerve pains( especially around my knees and thigh) have been hellish. I have been on Co codamol/DF 118 and pregabalin since but the pains are still there. Anyone with a useful info on what to do? Any idea when the pains will stop ?

Cement hand injury
After 2 days of lessons to learn how to handle the trowel with mortar, my hand
blisters
got worse. After medical consultation, I take amtibiotics and I have to do my wound treatment at home (saline solution, antibiotic cream, gauze sponge and bandage).

Marathon long training runs and ...... blisters?
Is it normal to get
blisters
on feet just because of the mileage or are my new trainers not quite right for me? This is the third long run and have done other smaller runs but today after 18 miles I had 3
blisters
😱 I had applied Vaseline and was wearing my new nicely padded socks.....
