Naughty boy! Rubs salt into the wound doesn't it? But of course he knew nothing about it, having been dropped off BEFORE they parked there. Yeah, right. And the moon is made of green cheese!

Private land...? Don't think it is actually enforceable, they provide those places as a courtesy in Motorway services... :(

I have printed some very sticky labels saying "You have taken my space, would you like my disability" I put one on the windscreen right in the drivers view when I see one parked without a badge. Love to watch them trying to get it off. Naughty but makes me feel better.

Hi Exblonde. Where can I get such very sticky labels as yours, to go through my printer - I can't wait to offer the same swap. Frank

A firm I worked for years ago used to do similar to cars left in our car park with people attending car auctions up the road. We had some sticky vinyl that was designed to stay stuck on greasy metal, one fella had to replace his windscreen as he made a right mess trying to get a label off, he sent the bill to our firm, but they just replied he was trespassing !

Have a look for "labels permanent a4" on ebay or Google, if you get the 1-per-sheet/full page ones you can usually print the message 4 times and cut the sheet to suit, then simply peel off and stick as you need them :D

Thanks for the advice Gordon. Think I've found them on labeldiscounter.com/en/ .

They are in the Netherlands though ? You'll get the A4 sheets cheaper on ebay. Quick example - ebay.co.uk/itm/200898676470 ?

Thanks again Gordon. That looks even better. Frank

It just reminded me, a lot of disabled people around here must have found employment, every time I try to find a bay to park in there is a white van or a builders wagon parked in at least one of them. Builders and the like must have some form of exemption as they are seem to be allowed to park there for the whole of their working day.

My Tesco provides loads of disabled spaces right close to the entrance, unfortunately they are all too often snapped up by 'the sandwich brigade' of young fit office workers etc. !

THAT MAN IS DISABLED....Albeit by the total garbage he spouts,,he should be in a institution for the criminally insane and selfish.....Whoops forgot,,, he is in the tory party....The whole lot escaped some years ago................................ :)

That's quite a posh car for someone who can live on £53 a week.

I somehow doubt whether his chauffeur was acting on his own initiative. The message is clear: blue badge spaces are for the serfs but only when we have no use for them to save us a few yards of walking.

I like your idea exblonde. There is one disabled space at our surgery and it seems to be used as a pick up point, I get so cross because I never used to use disabled parking when I was fit,

and at supermarkets i get even more cross. miserable, mean people.

I have always felt that people who abuse disabled parking bays are selfish uncaring and arrogant just about sums up Osborne and the vast majority of his Tory chums.

Normal loved your comment about vans abusing disabled parking it's my view that van drivers park email like they drive them no skill and no consideration.

Read Gordon's blog to find out where to buy the stickers and lets go after these selfish people. If we all do it maybe we will make a difference. I am going to photograph the next one I find trying to get it off and put it on facebook.

Please be aware that you could be charged for causing criminal damage to the vehicle if caught ! :( It sounds fun, but angry car owners can be quite difficult to deal with...

George Osborne didn't mean to park in a disabled parking place. It's just when he realised he didn't want to do another u turn.

:D

Whilst i,m all for Government bashing particularly when ill thought out cuts are rushed through like charging for "spare" room when no alternative accommodation is provided before hand, or DLA changes are so strict a person needs to be half dead before a claim is considered, however the reason we are likely to loose our freedom of speech in this country, is reporting like the above. It was his police driver that parked in the bay not Osborne, however much we dislike the man for his policies attacking him for another,s action does not make us better than him & reduces our arguments to just hysterical ranting! :( ps love exblonde,s idea but Gordon,s right some drivers are really aggressive when confronted!

Osborne grabs the headlines because of who he is, but his Police driver is the one who needs his knuckles rapping !

Then again, perhaps George needs a visit to his optician ? Lots of nice yellow markings all around the vehicle, even if he cannot see the disabled logo marking.

in reply to sillywitch

I am not hysterical,,nor do i rant,, i very camly think things through, mull it over a bit,,take all views into consideration ponder over it a bit more,,,discuss it with the cat,,,,,,what were we talking about again,,,O yes we would be as well getting heated up about the price of cheese in mongolia...NOW THAT WOULD INTREST THE TORYS...they have no interest in the general public,,there only interest is in upper middle classes... FACT..always wanted to say that,,,,,,,,,,, :)

I agree with you id, in fact I,ve just been nattering to the dogs & they agreed & when I mentioned that the Labor Party of today would make their(damn whats the word i want! you know the one that says who set it up?) are no better in fact ARE MUCH WORSE! as they masquerade as fighters for the working class & sick & disabled :) I get why Osborne gets the bashing it,s the miss representation that gets my goat, & i,d feel the same if they scream out bout Balls caught speeding as it cant be a new story as he says he,s already taken an awareness course! Oh the dogs said the Lib Dems are there to give us all a laugh while the others take us to hell in a hand cart :D bless em xx
