Good afternoon everyone,

On Wednesday 8th May, from 11am to 1pm, at Plas Dolerw, Milford Road, Newtown - the British Lung Foundation are hosting a 'lung health' event in Newtown.

The event is open to anyone who has any lung condition – such as asthma, COPD, or lung cancer - along with carers, family, and friends. People working in health and social care are also welcome to attend.

The day will bring together a wide cross-section of organisations that can help make a difference to the lives of people with lung disease.

Amongst those on hand to provide people with advice will be: British Lung Foundation & Breathe Easy, Community pharmacy, NHS Direct, Fire and rescue, Dyfed-Powys police, National Exercise Referral Scheme, Powys Carers Association, Message in a Bottle, and Dial-a-ride – who are able to provide transport to the event for a small donation - call 01686 622566 to arrange transport

Please do come along if you're in the area & invite others who you think may benefit.

For more information, please contact BLF Wales on 01792 455764 or email: wales@blf.org.uk

Best wishes,

BLF Wales
