Support for carers/family

I wanted to share a resource aimed at carers and family who are providing support to their loved ones. Upon signing up, you would be allocated a 'mentor' who will be able to provide advice and support online or meet you face to face (if you are living around Birmingham). The Carers Together project sounds particularly useful for any new carers or family who may feel that they are gradually taking on more caring duties over time. If you are a seasoned carer with knowledge and advice to give, you can also sign up to become a mentor yourself.

We would love to hear whether anyone has already tried this service and if it might be useful to recommend Carers Together on the BLF website.

Please follow this link to find out more:

For further information on being a carer please visit our BLF Family, Friends and Carers pages for more information:

Best wishes,
