Profile pic,how to change please!!

Have tried 4 times to post this,fingers crossed this time! My last pic 'shrunk' don't know why,lol.I am on a I pad now,last time on laptop.Is this why I am having difficulty? But I did update the face book one without problems.Many thanks to whomever can enlighten me,very grateful.

Go to home page on this site,click on your picture,click on change,this will open up your files in your computer select picture,, i think it will work,,,,if it does not work,,get large hammer and beat the life out of it,,,,,This however can be costly in both long and short term,,,,,, lol

LOL!! Well I am looking for the hammer,would not even open files.Oh well,have to be patient,& use daughters computer when over there.Many thanks for your input.xx

Gordon is the man you need, but I couldn't do mine on my iPad as Apple software is not compatible. I could only do it on my PC.

When you select the picture you want, you have to shrink it down to the required size.

Txs to you too Lynne,yes this is an apple too,so that's the answer I guess.That is so frustrating,well as I said above,will do it on my a daughters pc next time I'm there.These things are wonderful when they work,but b/p rising when they don't.!!

I did an instruction sheet a while ago, here it is:- zzaa.co.uk/profilepicture.pdf

The bit that most have problems with is 'crop' (page 2) - where you have uploaded the picture but need to set the area to be displayed. You can play about with this as much as you like, until you have it as you want to see it, then you have to remember to click on 'crop and save', otherwise your editing was in vain

I don't have an iPad or other tablet so have not experienced this, but some have said you can only do the edit on a PC.

Select upload.

Choose to take picture or choose from file.

A lighter patch will appear if the picture is to large.

This is the part that will appear in your profile.

Tap crop and save for final inception .

I just uploaded a picture of my car.

3 minutes.

Hi stone,sadly that did not work for me.When I changed the Facebook one,that probably took 3 mins.also.Thought it so wonderful,but stuck with this one,obivously not in tune with this site.Thanks for answering anyway.
