I seem to be sick with reoccuring sinus infections and running low grade fevers and very tired. Intefering with my work life. I've heard some people say is should give up dairy and wheat.

I can't answer in any knowledgeable way, but you can get tests done to see if these things are causing you problems. I don't know if that is on NHS though. I'm sure others will know more than me.

I inhale a few drops of Tea Tree oil and use it neat for broken skin. It is a versatile essential oil powerful antiseptic and has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. It may not be suitable for everyone but I find it really good for keeping infections at bay

I think you would need tests to see if anything would work on you, from our experience, hubby developed allergic rhinitis for no apparent reason (plus another condition), we paid for food intolerance testing and it came back as cows milk, pineapple and low on a particular vitamin, changed to soya and his rhinitis has disappeared. Anything is worth a try. Good luck

Hi Eanndunn. For me, coming off all dairy products, milk, cheese, yoghurt, chocolate etc, really helped.

Hi, - for me it is coffee! (and Chocolate once it has started). BUT definitely the coffee. Hope that helps. Take care TAD xx

Hi for me it's anything with mould ie wines (except very young wines that haven't been hanging around too long and Champagne which is made in stainless steel barrels, luckily ;) ), blue cheese, mushrooms, grapes, raisins, grain that's been hanging around too long collects mould spores. All block my sinuses & cause head pain.

Drink plenty to moisten the gunk up there.

Try eliminating one thing at a time.
