...Celebrating 110 years of caring
Today I was invited to Nottingham City Hospital's,Sherwood Hall for a celebration of 110years of caring.Paul Swift,Honorary Archivist,Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust gave a superb talk and display from bygone years through to present day.The developement from workhouses through to the Nottingham QMC which is the largest hospital in one place in Europe.
There used to be balconies for respiratory patients to sit out on to get fresh air.!!!!!!!
There was too much for me to put it on this blog but if you get a minute or two have a look at
nottinghamhospitalshistory.... it is absolutely fascinating.
