Hiccups

Does anyone else suffer from bouts of hiccups, or is it just me? I get them 4 or 5 times a day, after eating, after drinking, sometimes just after trying to take a deep breath. I eat very slowly and also do not rush when I am drinking. This has been going on for about 6 months now and the hiccups last anywhere between 10 minutes to half an hour. I don't for a minute think it is anything serious, just very annoying and was wondering if anyone else has a similar thing.

I Had Hiccups And Acid Just Before My Problems Started .... Like Others Say No Two People Are A Like Its When You Start Getting Breathless Might Be Problem

Thanks for reply daz. I also get acid reflux from sleep apneoa, used to take medication for it but that caused other problems. Did not stop to think the two may be related, so maybe the hiccups is more to do with the apneoa. I will mention it to my consultant next time I see him.

you need to mention this to your doctor you maybe have a hiatus hernia but needs checking

Thanks newlands. I will mention it. I think it is probably more something to do with the OSA though.
