Would that not be just as boring? We wear that many clothes to try and keep warm we'd lose interest and fall asleep half way through.

I remember when I was young, they had beetle drives at the Women's Institute down the road, but I never did know what they were? My mum would look down her nose at gatherings of other women as gossip mongers, so I never got to know, do tell!

Glad to hear you had a beetle drive, but can't understand your responses this type of game if done correctly is a simple ,lighthearted , nonenergetic way for total strangers to get to know each other even if somewhat old fashioned. Are any of you good at drawing beetles? most people are not so the drawings can be quite hilarous .Or maybe quizzes would be more interesting for your group Richard

Hi Katie .We do have quizzes as well.The idea of the beetle with the highest score on each table moving to the next table on the right is good for getting to know each other better.Unfortunately some members would not move thus spoiling it for others.Maybe absailing next time!
