Peppermint Oil

Trying some oil and hope it will reduce my cough after eating it is cough,cough,cough,cough and they think it might be acid causing it, will tell more after doing it for a few days.

It is early to see results but the taste is nice and not bad for using and that makes it easy to take.

I use peppermint oil in hot water when my reflux is bad it works but I hate it.

I was prescribed Ameprazole when my doc thought It was acid making me cough.

I use ginger to help me I find peppermint a little bit urgh must be because it reminds me of dentists lol

Hi Moose,

I was the same as you, cough,cough, cough tried most things. Codeine linctus, glycerine, lemon & honey, omeprazole and numerous other things. Last Consultant I saw noticed I was taking Perindopryll for blood pressure and he told me to stop taking it and see my GP for other medication and the consultant prescribed GAVISON EXTRA 5-10ml, 4 times a day. So far big reduction in coughing time but will wait and see how it progresses,but a little progress is good for us.
