Pulmonary valves

This afternoon I am off to see my doctor to discuss whether I would be suitable for pulmonary valves, he specialises in lung complaints so is the first step in the chain. The specialist who does the operation locally is only 20 miles away so fingers crossed I can be referred. Carole

Hello . Had valves fitted a week ago and had dizzy spells and still quite breathless, did you have any side effects?

I didn't have it done, my consultant looked into it and wasn't too happy with outcome in a lot of cases, so I thought it was best to leave as is! Keep smiling

They are on the NHS but I never got there had to cancel because the car was playing up, but have booked for 7th January. My doctor is only there on a Monday as he is my consultant as well and a professor of lung disease. I am so lucky to be at that doctors' surgery as it also has one of the best respitatory nurses in the county.

Hope you are all breathing easier on the run up to Christmas

Chin up girl top man thinks it might work now enjoy Christmas and let it all wait until next year eh
